THE 2016/2017 KOKO SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION

​The 2016/2017 Koko Scholarship examination was held at the Iwere College Hall on 30th June, 2017.

THE 2016/2017  KOKO SCHOLARSHIP  EXAMINATION The 2016/2017 Scholarship exam in session at the Iwere College Hall, Koko, Delta State.

 

The Total Nigeria Plc Scholarship for Koko indigenes is a CSR initiative aimed at providing affordable education to the Koko child. The selection interview had 7 schools from across Koko in attendance with 104 first year junior secondary school students (JSS1) participating. The schools are:Iwere College, Koko, Christ the Savior School Koko, Baptist High School, Koko, Beach College Koko, St. Michael’s Secondary School Koko, Aunty Kate School Koko and Christian World Modern College, Koko.

28 students at various levels of their secondary education currently benefit from this scheme.With this year’s selection interview, another 6 students of Koko origin who benefited from the scheme has brought the total number of beneficiaries to 34.

The examination was transparently conducted under the watchful supervision of the Koko Community Management Authority (KCMA) Education Sub-Committee.The examination supervision was assisted by some teachers and youth corps members from Koko.The exam was immediately scored and winners emerged same day.Formal notification will be sent to the schools and the parents of beneficiaries.

  4. Kpogho Ebiortse Christopher  of  Iwere College, Koko.
  5. Asokuarami Emmanuella Ortise-seun of Christian World Model School, Koko.
  6. Okotie Ortiseweyinmi Favour of  Baptist High School, Koko.

THE 2016/2017  KOKO SCHOLARSHIP  EXAMINATION The  six beneficiaries  of the 2016/2017 scholarship  Scheme  with the Corporate Affairs Manager  Total  Nig Plc Mr.  Albert Mabuyaku , Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Mrs. Chinwe Ifechigha, Mr. Charles Loko, the chairman Education Committee KCMA, teachers and youth corps members from the Koko community after the Scholarship exam.
